Ryan has been the owner of Linden Oaks Physical Therapy since 2005. Ryan received his Masters of Physical Therapy from Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania in 2003 as well as his BS in Biology in 2001. Ryan furthered his degree in 2014 when he received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Saint Augustine in Florida.
Ryan has treated a wide range of orthopedic patients, including patients with low back pain, joint replacements, balance dysfunctions, neurological impairments, as well as post-surgical patients. He is dedicated to creating individualized treatment programs to achieve maximum functional ability for each patient. In 2010, Ryan received his certification in the McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy of the Spine. Ryan enjoys taking continuing education courses to stay at the cutting edge of evidence based practice in Physical Therapy. Ryan is also skilled in Kinesio taping, and also has continuing education experience in the Graston Technique.
Ryan has developed extensive relationships with many doctors in the Rochester region over the past 17 years and feels that direct communication between practitioners and patients is the best way to achieve optimal outcomes for the patient. He works closely with each patient to tailor their plan of care to best suit the needs for a quick return to optimal functional ability. Ryan feels that every patients scenario is unique and requires a customized approach.
Ryan enjoys outdoor activities with his wife and 4 children during his free time. He is an avid hiker and runner, with the Adirondacks High Peaks being his favorite destination. Ryan has completed 10 marathons and is working towards becoming an ADK 46er.
